A Milwaukee firefighter and U.S. Navy veteran got a group of former military and first responders together to help out in Ukraine.
"Somebody has to do something," Nicholas Shaw told Fox6Now.com."We can’t just sit by and watch it just happen."
They traveled to Kiev, bought a vehicle and started running much needed supplies to different cities.
Shaw created the Global Augmentation Group to continue helping in the Ukraine, where they said they've rescued about 100 people since April.
A GoFundMe was established to help the group with their mission.
